Quick Start Guide

1. Install the Extension

Install the PriceIQ Product Importer from the Chrome Web Store.

2. Connect Your Account

  1. Click the PriceIQ extension icon in your browser toolbar
  2. Click "Connect to PriceIQ"
  3. Log in to your PriceIQ account (or sign up for free at app.usepriceiq.com)

3. Import Products

  1. Browse to any product page (Costco, Sam's Club, Amazon, Vistar, or any retail site)
  2. Click the "Import to PriceIQ" button that appears on the page
  3. Review the extracted product data
  4. Click "Import" to save to your PriceIQ catalog

How does the AI extraction work?

When you click "Import to PriceIQ," the extension captures a screenshot of the product page and uses AI to extract product details like name, price, vendor item number, and case quantity. You can review and edit this data before importing.

Is my data secure?

Yes. Screenshots are processed temporarily and never stored. Authentication is handled via secure OAuth. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

Can I edit products after importing?

You can review and edit data in the extension before importing. Once imported to PriceIQ, you can view or delete products, but not edit them. To make corrections, delete and re-import.

The import button doesn't appear. What should I do?

Try these steps:

  1. Make sure you're on a product page (not a category or search page)
  2. Refresh the page
  3. Check that the extension is enabled in chrome://extensions/
  4. Try clicking the extension icon and selecting "Add This Site"
